de Havilland DHC-6 (CC-138) Twin Otter

The Twin Otter was used in INDIA/PAKISTAN with UNMOGIP and UNIPOM. One of these aircraft (13808) was destroyed on the ground at Rawalpindi following the outbreak of the 1971 India-Pakistan War. This aircraft was replaced by 13801 which arrived in January 1972. Following photographs of 13801 in UN markings, date unknown, at Lahr by John Davies (used with permission):
